Description of the organisation

A team of mental health specialists are providing effective and evidence-based assistance to those experiencing anxiety. In the clinic, they offer various forms of support, allowing everyone to choose the most suitable option. They provide individual consultations, group therapy, art therapy, educational seminars, meditation groups, and training for organisations.

Good practice

The Anxiety Clinic offers individual consultations, which can help youngsters experience confusion in life, anxiety attacks or panic attacks, suffer from incessant thoughts about worst-case scenarios, struggle to form relationships, experience sleep difficulties, ect.
Group therapies are conducted in a safe space, that allows to confront current difficulties in the present moment. These group sessions help to recognise and express emerging emotions and thoughts, gain insights, discover alternative problem-solving methods, experience a supportive intimate relationship, and receive support.
Organisation also organises training sessions and seminars on anxiety itself and anxiety disorders. They invite everyone interested in mental health and anxiety-related topics to attend these seminars. The sessions can be relevant both to those who are just starting to explore anxiety and those who have already been on a long path of treatment.
It is important to mention a very useful tool that they’ve created. It is the first free interactive mobile application in Lithuania designed for people experiencing panic attacks – “Ramu”. It is created by professional psychologists and is based on the knowledge accumulated by scientists and practitioners about panic attacks. The application is both an immediate help during a panic attack that is always with you, and a daily assistant in learning to calm down and relax. In long term it helps to develop self-help skills that eventually help to overcome panic attacks and reduce anxiety on your own.
