The Dr Dariusz Wasilewski Association “Aktywnie Przeciwko Depresji “ was founded in 2003. Its aim is to inform the public about the causes, effects, symptoms, course and treatment of depression, to shape lifestyles that are beneficial to mental health, to help people suffering from depression.
Good practice
On the occasion of National Depression Day, the Association has been organising Charity Cheerful Concerts since 2008. Their aim is to draw attention to the problem of depression in a way that is more emotionally stimulating than conventional factual activities. The proceeds from the concerts go entirely towards educational activities for patients with depression and their families. The concerts feature of very well-known Polish artists.
